The ECCE 1st Semester TLM (Teaching-Learning Materials) Costume Showdown was held on 12th October 2026 at the DIET Hall, DIET Saiha. The programme provided a creative platform for student-teachers to demonstrate their imagination, innovation, and understanding of Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) through costume presentations using teaching-learning materials.

The participants showcased their creativity by presenting costumes and ideas related to teaching-learning activities for young children. The event highlighted the importance of innovative, attractive, and child-friendly teaching aids in making the teaching-learning process more effective, engaging, and enjoyable.

The programme was an enriching learning experience for the student-teachers, encouraging creativity, confidence, teamwork, and the practical application of their knowledge of ECCE. The event concluded successfully, contributing to the development of innovative teaching skills among the trainees of DIET Saiha.
